Preface: A classic case of someone aggressively asserting things in an argument without any support.

But Bible God is already NOT perfectly perfect. (See problem of Evil, not to mention many evil acts he did in the Bible).

I will refute your problem of evil argument if you present it.

------------------------------------------------------------
Redditor3:
Perfectly Good and all Powerful God would not allow evil.

Evil exists.

Therefore perfectly good and omnipotent God does not exist.

Your problem of evil does not apply to my God because of an inaccurate premise.

God is all Power. He created everything and everything depends on Him to exist. There is no other metaphysical power besides Him.

God is perfectly Good. He is the objective Standard of Goodness. His actions are Good by necessity. There is no being higher than Him to hold Him accountable.

So God actively creates evil for His own purpose and it is good for Him to do so.

Do you see a logical problem with this?

------------------------------------------------------------
Redditor3:
Yeah. There are problems with your conception.

By your logic you can have a God who created a total hellscape where every living in existance is tortured forever to amuse you God, and he would still be "perfect."

If you define perfection and goodness in a such a way, these are totally meaningless term.

How is it a meaningless term?

You just pointed to its meaning.

------------------------------------------------------------
Redditor3:
It's totally meaningless. Anything and anyone can be called "prefect" or "good," by this logic.

Additional_Goose_556:

You say it's meaningless, but that doesn't make it meaningless. You actually already pointed to its meaning.

How does this make it meaningless? By my logic only God is Good and Perfect. So you would be wrong if you called someone else Good and Perfect.

By your logic, what makes something meaningful?
